1League Objective
The Kohi Dojo Cantaball League Season 1 exists to:
- Build community among TechRise students.
- Celebrate Aba's traditional Cantaball culture.
- Create a fun and competitive environment.
- Promote teamwork and sportsmanship.
- Support Kohi Dojo events and student engagement.
2Eligibility
- Registration is open to all TechRise students.
- Each team must register before the weekly deadline.
- Maximum of 20 teams per week.
- Teams that do not qualify for the weekly finals may register again in future weeks (subject to available slots).
3Team Composition
- Maximum 2 players per team
- Teams may choose:
- Team Name
- Team Captain
- Team Colours
- Players cannot represent more than one team in the same weekly season.
4Registration
Registration Fee:
- ₦5,200 per team
Registration includes:
- Entry into the weekly league.
- Official fixture schedule.
- Player profile feature on Kohi Dojo social media.
- Access to League Awards.
- Eligibility for Champions League qualification.
- Season participation certificate (digital).
5League Format
Groups:
- Group A: Teams 1–10
- Group B: Teams 11–20
Each group contains 10 teams. Every team plays every other team in its group once.
6Point System
- Win — 3 Points
- Draw — 1 Point
- Loss — 0 Points
7League Table Tiebreakers
If two or more teams finish on equal points:
- Goal Difference
- Goals Scored
- Head-to-Head Result
- Playoff Match (if required)
8Match Format
Each match lasts:
No halftime.
The referee's decision is final.

Monday – Friday
Opening Ceremony - 5:30 PM
First Match - 6:00 PM
Final Match - 10:05 PM
Saturday
Opening - 12:00 PM
League Matches - 12:30 PM
Semi Finals - Afternoon
Final & Awards - Evening

Top Two Teams from each Group qualify.
11Champions League & Grand Finale Awards
The Kohi Dojo Cantaball League is played across four qualifying weeks, culminating in Champions League Week, where the best teams compete for the ultimate title during Flow! 04 – Demo Day.
- The top four teams from each qualifying week advance to the Champions League.
- Only qualified teams are eligible to compete for the Season 1 championship.

13Champions League Qualification
- Each weekly league qualifies teams for the Season Finale.
- The top four teams from each weekly season qualify for Champions League Week.
- At the end of the four qualifying weeks:
16 teams → Champions League → Overall Champion → Flow! 04 Demo Day Trophy Presentation
14Fair Play
Players must:
- Respect officials.
- Respect opponents.
- Respect spectators.
- Respect the venue.
- Respect Kohi Dojo staff.
Unsportsmanlike behaviour may lead to:
- Match warning
- Point deduction
- Match forfeiture
- Suspension
- Disqualification
15Equipment
- Only official league Cantaball equipment may be used.
- No modifications are permitted during matches.
16Match Officials
Every match will have:
- Referee
- Timekeeper
- Scorekeeper
- Commentator
- Media Team
17Media
By registering, teams agree that:
- Photos may be taken.
- Videos may be recorded.
- Interviews may be conducted.
- Match highlights may be shared on Kohi Dojo and LearnFactory platforms.
18Protests
If a team wishes to protest:
- Notify the referee immediately after the match.
- Submit the protest before the end of the day's fixtures.
- League officials will review the matter before the next matchday.
19Spirit of the League
Above everything else, the Kohi Dojo Cantaball League Season 01 exists to:
- Build friendships.
- Celebrate creativity.
- Promote healthy competition.
- Strengthen the TechRise community.
Building community is even more important.
20Looking Ahead
Season 1 is only the beginning. At the Demo Day awards, Season 1 Champions will receive:
- Free registration into Season 2
- Right to wear a special "Defending Champions" badge or jersey
This creates continuity, gives future teams a champion to challenge, and starts building a lasting tradition around the Kohi Dojo Cantaball League.
At the end of every season, the following will be permanently recorded in the Kohi Dojo Cantaball League Hall of Fame: Season Champions, Runner-Up, Third Place, MVP, Golden Playmaker, Kohi Dojo Choice Award, Rising Star, and Team Spirit Award winners. These names become part of the league's history and serve as inspiration for future seasons.

When and where are matches held?
Matches are held every Saturday at 2:00 PM at our indoor facility in Lagos. The exact address is provided upon registration.
How much is the registration fee?
The weekly entry fee is N5,000 per team of 2 players. This covers the court rental, equipment, and prize pool contribution.
What happens if my team can't make it?
Please notify us 24 hours in advance if your team cannot attend. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for no-shows as spots are limited.
Can I change my team partner?
Yes, you can change partners between weeks, but not during a week's tournament. Both players on your registered team must be present.
How are points calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, losers receive 0. In case of ties in the standings, we use point difference (points scored minus points conceded) as a tie-breaker.
